Recommendations
for the action plan
on promoting equal rights
for LGBT+ people
In recent years, the progress in the rights of LGBT+ people
has largely been at a standstill. The state has not passed any strategies concerning LGBT+ people nor has it implemented any EU recommendations.
There is a need for effective strategic advocacy and policy making which include all groups concerned with the promotion
of the rights of LGBT+ people.
Research
We will organize a study mapping the current situation which will include politicians, policy makers and the LGBT+ people of Estonia.
Recommendations
We will create action plan recommendations for use
by the state on promoting
the equal rights of LGBT+ people.
Plan
To guarantee the effective implementation of the action plan recommendations, we will create an advocacy plan for the Estonian LGBT Association.
